Project Scoping

We work with each business to identify a meaningful, well-defined project — something with real value and clear outcomes. Projects range in length and cost depending on complexity, but all are built to be realistic, impactful, and fully scoped before work begins.

Matching

Students are selected based on their skills, interests, and goals — and matched with a project that gives them hands-on experience while delivering value to the business. Many come from schools like Stanford, Cornell, Brown, and Northwestern.

Delivery

Students work mostly independently, producing weekly deliverables and following a structured plan. They are guided by ExLC frameworks and toolkits to ensure quality, clarity, and accountability.

Oversight

ExLC provides project oversight from start to finish — including kickoff planning, midpoint check-ins, and final deliverable review. We ensure expectations are clear and support both the student and business throughout.
